The Stage is set for the First Hanoi Nature Marathon

Information on Hanoi Challenge

In the suburbs of Hanoi, the capital of Hanoi, the first nature marathon, a four-day race, the 'Hanoi Challenge',is held around the end of January every year. [This marathon race takes place for 4days.]

As the route takes in Halong Bay, known as one of the world heritage sites, you can enjoy the scenic beauty of Hanoi along the way. (Organizer by: Hanoi Challenge Executive Committee, managed by: Runners Without Borders).
The Hanoi Challenge is currently recruiting 50 runners (walkers are also acceptable).

This race aims to respond to the requests of Japanese runners participating in overseas races. The Hanoi Challenge is a nature race facilitates their easy participation and the magnificent nature found in suburban Hanoi offers the perfect race backdrop. The walking race is also to be held simultaneously, meaning all age groups will be able to have a good time.

It is a 4-day race, covering a distance of around 20 km per stage. The total race distance is around 80 km in four stages. Along the race, the runners go through Hanoi's Dong Ho village, Con son temple area, and Tay phuong temple suburbs beautifully surrounded by the mountains and the Bat Trangh village suburbs famous for porcelain manufacturing.

Such environments represent beautiful Hanoiese landscape as well as the Ha long Bay, designated as a world heritage site. It resembles the superb scenes typical of Japan, enabling the runners to enjoy Hanoi's splendid natural beauty. After finishing each day's course, the runners can enjoy visiting the scenic sights around the course as well as experience the Hanoiese culture.

Athlete's transportation between the courses will be by bus, and the accommodation will be at a hotel.
